Second in the collection is “Active Charcoal Exfoliating Cleansing Powder,” and its special job is to clear pores. According to Origins, this mask is best for two types of skin: normal and oily.
And finally, the third product in the collection is simply called “Active Charcoal Mask,” and it also serves to clear pores. However, Origins says that this one is best for acne and oil control and is designed to meet the needs of all three skin types: dry, normal, and oily skin.
This review will be centered around all three of the products, as I will be giving you an overview of, introduction to, and review of the Origins Clear Improvement collection itself as a whole.
In order to do that, I will review each of the three products individually, and then sum up the collection as a whole.

The first product in the Origins Clear Improvement collection that I will be touching on is the charcoal honey mask.
Its primary job is to purify and nourish the skin, while also being extremely good for treating skin that struggles with acne and oil control. Plus, it is suitable for dry, normal, and oily skin types.
The mask is said by Origins to be very gentle and easy on the skin and is purifying, and as it is applied, deeply detoxes the skin while nourishing it at the same time.
This results in your skin feeling clean, comfortable, and light, as well as feeling clear and conditioned.
How Does It Work?
This facial mask functions off of the formula that makes it, which is made out of bamboo charcoal.
The bamboo charcoal then causes the mask to give your skin a deep clean when it is applied to your skin.
It cleans it by drawing out anything that clogs the pores deep in your skin, as well as any impurities and debris that is in the skin as well.

Second in the Origins Clear Improvement collection is the product called “Active Charcoal Exfoliating Cleansing Powder.”
This powder’s main job is to clear pores from your skin, exfoliating it, and is best for two types of skin: normal skin and oily skin.
The product is a concentrated cleanser that is very creamy and effervescent, and it water activates.
It clears your face of pores and dead skin cells, which makes your skin feel soft, smooth, and extremely refreshed after use of the product.
How Does It Work?
This concentrated powder and cleanser is made of formulas and ingredients that are water activated.
This means that whenever the cleanser comes in contact with water, its ingredients are activated and the product can do what it says it will.

The third and final product included in the Origins Clear Improvement facial cleansing collection is the Active Charcoal Mask, which, like the Active Charcoal Exfoliating Cleansing Powder, is supposed to clear skin pores.
However, perhaps the biggest difference between the two products is the fact that the previous one was only compatible with two skin types, whereas the Active Charcoal Mask is able to do its work on all three types of skin: dry, normal, and oily.
Furthermore, this charcoal mask is also best for acne and oil control, similar to the Charcoal Honey Mask.
The mask makes the skin on your face not only more cleansing, refreshing, and pore-less, but it also makes it ready to act its best in the future by eliminating deep dwelling pore cloggers, environmental toxins, and impurities.
In the end, Origins guarantees that your skin will be left looking clear and feeling pure.
How Does It Work?
While the most active ingredient in the Active Charcoal Mask is charcoal, there are several other ingredients that play very vital roles as well.
These ingredients include Bamboo Charcoal, White China Clay, and Lecithin.
As for the Bamboo Charcoal, its most vital job is to act like a magnet to draw out any pores cloggers and other invading substances that dwell deep in the skin. This makes sure that the skin is internally clean and internally pure in preparation for the rest of the cleansing process.

However, online the only posted price on Origins’ official company website is $30.
Finally, the most expensive of the three products is the Charcoal Honey Masks, which purifies and nourishes the skin. This mask is listed online for a price of $34 and can be purchased in stores or online.
Overall, if you are looking to purchase all three of the products, a good budget to have is a total of $91, assuming that the Active Charcoal Mask is listed at $27.
However, not all three of the products are necessary, although Origins recommends them all.
What Others Are Saying About It
On Origins’ company website, the products have received a combined total of 1,517 reviews from customers.
However, the Charcoal Honey Mask is new, having only received 1 review thus far. Despite that, the one customer did give it a 5-star rating out of 5 stars maximum, saying that the mask does all that it says it does.
The Active Charcoal Exfoliating Cleansing Powder has also received a total 5-star rating, which was the average of 21 total customer reviews.
However, the downside to this listing on the website is that it is one of the older products (along with the Active Charcoal Mask), and is in a different layout on the site, which does not allow you to see what customers are actually saying and writing about the product. Instead, you can only see the average, overall star rating.
Finally, the Active Charcoal Mask has received an average 4.5-star rating from an astounding total of 1,495 customer reviews.
It is obvious that customers are finding satisfaction with the Origins Clear Improvement collection, however it would be nice for others to be able to see what they are actually saying about it like the newer product.
Origins Clear Improvement: What I Think
The Origins Clear Improvement is a very nice collection of three very useful, affordable, and obviously likeable products.
There is a lot of thought that goes into making and designing these products as far as the safe and unique ingredients go, as well as the jobs each one performs.
One thing that I personally like and find very convenient about each one of the products is that you get to select whether you want it to be a one-time purchase or if you want Origins to ship you the same product on a regular basis for refills.
For example, you can choose from a one-time purchase, delivery every 30 days, delivery every 45 days, delivery every 60 days, delivery every 75 days, or delivery every 90 days.
Pretty much the only downfall that I found with the collection is that the two oldest ones don’t allow you to see what others are writing and reporting about them, even though they both have excellent ratings.
Additionally, the newest product, the Charcoal Honey Mask, has received only 1 customer review so far, and in the review, the customer stated that the mask can become extremely hard to get off if you accidentally put too much on.
Other than that, I think that the Origins Clear Improvement is a great, quality collection that will definitely help out your skin and is worth the buy.
